Please read these driving school terms for Toowoomba before booking a lesson with L To P Driving Instruction. These Terms & Conditions explain our booking, payment, cancellation, safety, driving test and vehicle policies. By making a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Driving School Terms Toowoomba – Bookings & Payments
Driving lessons can be booked online through our booking system or arranged directly with L To P Driving Instruction. Lesson fees are payable according to the payment option selected at the time of booking. Prices may vary depending on the lesson type, duration and vehicle transmission selected.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your driving lesson, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in the lesson fee being charged or forfeited. In the case of genuine emergencies or exceptional circumstances, please contact L To P Driving Instruction as soon as possible.
Late Arrivals & No-Shows
Please be ready at the agreed lesson time. If you are late, the lesson may still finish at the originally scheduled time so that other bookings are not affected. If you do not attend your lesson without giving notice, the lesson may be treated as a no-show and the full lesson fee may be charged or the lesson payment forfeited.”
Learner Licence & Eligibility
Learners must hold a current and valid learner licence or other appropriate driver licence that allows them to legally drive in Queensland. Learners must bring their licence to each driving lesson and comply with all Queensland road rules and licensing requirements.For official information about Queensland learner licences and road rules, visit the Queensland Government website.
Driving Test Packages
Driving test packages may include a pre-test driving lesson and use of the L To P Driving Instruction vehicle for your practical driving test. Learners are responsible for ensuring their driving test is correctly booked with the relevant Queensland licensing authority and for providing the correct test date, time and location to L To P Driving Instruction. Vehicle use for the test is subject to availability and the learner being considered safe and ready to use the vehicle for the practical driving test.
Safety & Instructor Discretion
Safety is our highest priority. The instructor may refuse to commence or may end a lesson if they believe it is unsafe to continue, including where a learner appears affected by alcohol, drugs, illness, extreme fatigue, aggressive behaviour or any other condition that may make driving unsafe. The instructor may also intervene or take control of the vehicle when necessary to protect the learner, instructor, other road users or property.
Vehicle Damage & Accidents
L To P Driving Instruction maintains appropriate insurance for its driving school vehicles. Learners must follow the instructor’s directions and drive with reasonable care. If an accident or vehicle damage occurs during a lesson, responsibility for repair costs, insurance excesses or other losses will be determined according to the circumstances of the incident, applicable law and the terms of the relevant insurance policy.
Refunds & Credits
Refunds and credits will be considered according to the circumstances of the booking. Lessons cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled or credited to a future lesson. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend a booked lesson, may result in the full lesson fee being charged or the lesson payment being forfeited. Where L To P Driving Instruction needs to cancel a lesson, the learner may choose to reschedule the lesson or receive a refund or credit for the affected lesson.
Changes to Terms & Contact
L To P Driving Instruction may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary. The terms that apply to a booking will be those in effect at the time of the booking.
